Porcelain veneers
Porcelain veneers are thin restorations bonded to the front of suitable teeth. They may be considered for certain concerns about colour, shape or surface irregularities, but they are not appropriate for every cosmetic concern.

Assessing suitability
Enamel, existing fillings, the bite, tooth grinding and gum health are considered. Significant tooth-position problems may need a different approach. Less invasive alternatives should also be discussed before a decision is made.
Preparation and fitting
The amount of preparation depends on the tooth and the intended change. A no-preparation approach cannot be promised to everyone. After impressions and laboratory work, the fit, colour and shape are checked before bonding. Any irreversible alteration of tooth tissue should be understood before treatment.
Care and maintenance
Clean around veneer margins and between the teeth. Biting hard objects and heavy grinding forces can damage restorations. Chipping, loosening or changes in appearance may require repair or replacement. An unlimited lifespan cannot be guaranteed.
Aftercare & Recovery Information
Follow practical guidelines for eating, cleaning and symptom management after treatment.
